What does standard installation include?

The package covers standard fitting and commissioning. For units with a manufacturer kit, we use the supplied kit. For units without a kit, we include:

  • Up to 3 metres of complete refrigerant piping
  • Electrical plug
  • Wall anchors
  • Outdoor-unit mounting brackets
What is not included in standard installation?
  • Masonry repairs, plastering, painting, wallpaper restoration and other finishing work.
  • Modifications or repairs to the property’s electrical installation.
  • Moving furniture or objects that obstruct installation.
  • Relocating the unit after installation.
  • General cleaning of dust produced during installation.
  • Two or more wall penetrations for the refrigerant piping route.
  • Concealing piping and electrical cables with masonry, PVC channels, decorative covers or other materials.
  • Installing protective awnings or covers for indoor/outdoor units.
  • Refrigerant piping extensions beyond the included 3 metres.

Warranty and Safety

24-month installation workmanship warranty

Speed Instal Economic provides a 24-month workmanship warranty for installation by its technicians, subject to the applicable warranty documents.

Proper maintenance

We recommend professional cleaning and inspection at least once a year, preferably before the warm season, or according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Missing annual cleaning does not automatically invalidate all warranty coverage.

Correct usage

  • Follow the manufacturer’s operating instructions.
  • Clean filters regularly.
  • Keep airflow unobstructed.
  • Arrange maintenance when performance deteriorates.

Situations that may affect coverage

Coverage may be affected where defects result from:

  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications.
  • Improper maintenance.
  • Electrical surges or external damage.
  • Mechanical damage.
  • Incorrect relocation or modification of refrigerant piping.

The manufacturer’s equipment warranty is separate from Speed Instal Economic’s installation workmanship warranty. These commercial warranties do not replace or limit statutory consumer rights; coverage is assessed according to the cause and applicable documents.

Important Information Before Installation

  • Existing refrigerant piping installed by third parties is not covered by our workmanship warranty.
  • The installation position must be agreed with you and assessed by the technician.
  • Share any known information about hidden cables, pipes and other installations.
  • Additional work may be necessary if the requested position is technically unsuitable.
  • Technicians will not proceed with work that cannot be carried out safely.
